About

Nicole Kallmeyer is an emerging artist in the Northern Kentucky area who recently graduated from Thomas More College with a degree in Studio Art. Thus far, her work has been displayed throughout the Greater Cincinnati Area, including the Thomas More Student Show at 1305 Gallery, 2015 Emerging Artist Exhibition at the Clifton Cultural Arts Center, and the 2016 Thomas More College Juries Student Show at the Eva G. Farris Gallery. Her honors include being a 2015 NextGen artist for the Behringer Crawford FreshArt auction, Mount Adams Artwalk Emerging Artist for 2015, and being named a Summer Fair Emerging Artist. Internationally she has had the honor of being a Featured artist at the International Student Print Show 2016 in Cairo, Egypt.

Nicole's enjoyment of art began at a young age and is derived from her love for horses and interest in the equine anatomy, but she finds inspiration from all aspects of her life. Initially self-taught and self-driven, through childhood she improved her skill with a lot of practice. After acquiring a degree in Criminal Justice from NKU, Nicole decided to follow her passion and take the opportunity to further her art education so that she may turn a passion into a career.
